Built into the hill of a spacious sloped lot, the home open living spaces are oriented to the rear to provide an uninterrupted view of the Susquehanna River in the distance. Separated only by a staircase and circulation zone, the private rooms and service spaces were placed to the front of the home. Although the residence is relatively modern in thought and form, it is warm and traditional in its simplicity as well as the application of materials.
