Throughout Midtown Harrisburg many residents, businesses and community action groups are putting tremendous effort into the revitalization of one of Harrisburg’s oldest neighborhoods. Our client for this project is leading the way in this immense undertaking by rehabilitating over 60 residences and constructing 16 new townhomes along Green St in the heart of Midtown. The clients desired to have a townhouse encompassing new ideas for city living, while blending seamlessly with the existing context. Each unit includes an alley-accessed single car garage as well as one, private off-street parking space, critical to the marketing viability of downtown living. The elegantly open layout showcases newer loft-like urban planning trends with the main living level on the second floor. In juxtaposition to the traditional exterior, the industrial steel and maple wood stair exemplifies the decidedly modern approach to the interior design.
